About Us
Damayanti and Daneesh met on their very first day at St. Mary’s School, Pune, way back in 1994. Nearly a decade later, in Class 7 (2003), they bonded over a shared love of Westlife—and a mutual fear of prefects and terrifying Hindi teachers. Their first creative collaboration was a band called Jaded, where they spent most of their free time writing love songs for boys who may or may not have existed, and daydreaming about being rescued by Westlife, Bop Bop Baby-style.
Fast-forward to 2021: after an adventurous twenties that took them through Paris, Dublin, Toronto, a lockdown, and a pregnancy, they found themselves reunited. Looking for more excuses to hang out, they joined a painting class that reignited their creative spark—and led to the birth of Queen of My Art (yes, they’re OG Westlife fangirls, you could probably tell).
When capitalism came calling and their painting habit needed funding, they decided to print their art on t-shirts to sell to friends and family. One thing led to another, and here we are.
Today, they design art-inspired, fandom-fuelled apparel and accessories for the creatively obsessed millennial (and everyone else who gets the vibe). Join them on their women-owned, homegrown entrepreneurial journey—where nostalgia, pop culture, and art collide in colour, comfort, and a touch of chaos.
